WHAT IS A CHIROPRACTOR?
A Chiropractor is a doctor of the nervous system. Our job is to find and correct subluxations. Subluxations are misalignments in specific joints that are correlated with a misfiring of the nerve associated with that area. By correcting subluxations and removing interference in the nervous system, we are able to facilitate our practice members in their own healing process.
WHAT IS WELLNESS CARE?
Our goal at Eastern Sierra Chiropractic, is to help our practice members maintain their ability to engage fully in their lives and return to expressing themselves fully. Regular wellness care is important in reaching personal goals. Through an individualized care plan, we will help you reach your best potential and maintain it.
WHY DO CHILDREN NEED TO BE ADJUSTED?
We believe that every person with a nervous system benefits from regular chiropractic care, even the tiniest ones. Subluxations can occur through the birthing process causing many different kinds of symptoms the cary throughout life in many different ways. Our goal is to relieve the nervous system of tension so that every child can express themselves fully. At Eastern Sierra Chiropractic, we believe in starting life on two good feet, not just one.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
Every practice members will fill out history forms detailing their current and past history. After any questions are answered, Dr. Danielle will perform a complete exam using muscle testing, motion palpation, orthopedic exams and possibly neurological exams to establish proper care. Ending our session with a chiropractic adjustment, including craniosacral and muscle work.
WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
As of this moment Eastern Sierra Chiropractic is a non participating provider. We will provide each practice member a super bill to submit to insurance. Please feel free to ask any questions about this process.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER AN ADJUSTMENT?
Practice Member have expressed a multitude of changes in their bodies after adjustments. Some have felt full of energy and ready to go running or feel great clarity, while others have felt the need to go home, relax and take a nap. It is common to feel sore after an adjustment and it is recommended to take an Epson Salt bath and drink extra water.
